BoneHead Of The Week
November 10th, 2008 9:50 AM
A “too dumb to be a criminal” bonehead award goes to an unnamed man in San Francisco, CA. It was the day that the jury was to decide whether the man was guilty or not of auto theft. White the man sat inside the courtroom bystanders outside noticed an SUV with dogs inside. With the warm temperature the bystanders alerted police. The man exited the court and headed to the SUV wither police charged him not only with animal cruelty but also with stealing the SUV he drove to his auto theft trail.

Reverse Mortgages Is This Right For YOU!
November 10th, 2008 9:36 AM

Reverse mortgages (also called home equity conversion loans) enable elderly homeowners to tap into their equity without selling their home. The lender pays you money based on the equity you've accrued in your home; you receive a lump sum, a monthly payment or a line of credit. Repayment is not necessary until the borrower sells the property, moves into a retirement community or passes away. When you sell your home or no longer use it as your primary residence, you or your estate must repay the cash you received from the reverse mortgage plus interest and other finance charges to the lender.

Most reverse mortgages require you be at least 62 years of age, have a low or zero balance owed against your home and maintain the property as your principal residence.

Reverse mortgages are ideal for homeowners who are retired or no longer working and need to supplement their income. Interest rates can be fixed or adjustable and the money is nontaxable and does not interfere with Social Security or Medicare benefits. Your lender cannot take property away if you outlive your loan nor can you be forced to sell your home to pay off your loan even if the loan balance grows to exceed property value.

GET OUT TODAY AND VOTE
November 4th, 2008 11:42 AM

It is so easy really. It doesn't matter who you plan to vote for just get out and vote. I know it may seem like a pain the the keister because you have to work it into your busy work schedule or take off early from work, wait in long lines. BUT if you don't vote and vote your opinion, you get NO bitching rights when things don't go right politically in the next four years. So no complaining about not enough money for school, bad roads and traffic or environmental issues NOTHING! You gave up that right when you decided you didn't have the time to fit voting into your busy schedule.

The world is excited about today! Not just our good old USA but the world because what we do effects the world. So I am asking you to vote. Consider your choices and make a decision, but VOTE!
